The successful candidate will be responsible for a specific territory within Canada representing multiple brands for both inbound and outbound calls. This job will require the right candidate to take and enter orders from our customers, perform customer service duties, provide customer follow up as well as generate sales by making outbound calls to an existing customer base.

The job is located in Uxbridge, Ontario and will involve both in office responsibilities as well as road trips twice a year based on our seasonal product launches and COVID protocols. This is a great position for someone who enjoys and thrives in sales and is geared to achieve.

Responsibilities

  • Handle customer service inquiries and problem solve by providing solutions to the customer in a timely manner
  • Identify and understand customer needs in order to recommend the appropriate products and sale opportunities
  • Learn the software used by our sales team for order entry and order processing
  • Updating customer data bases and information to serve your customers
  • Confident email and phone manner with a strong command of English
  • Using interpersonal and relationship building skills to identify needs and make product recommendations
  • Work safely and in compliance with our policies and procedures
  • Keep detailed notes of inbound and out bound calls and details for follow up and exploring

About the Job

As a Graphic Artist/Designer, you will help drive the design and layout of preliminary concepts through to final completion. You’ll accelerate into the design of jackets, caps, and t-shirts, along with creating our seasonal brochures and flyers.

You will:

  • Work closely with the graphic design and product development teams to discuss new design concepts considering both function and style, drawing up concepts in Illustrator.
  • Prepare pre-spec files to provide clear details for the product development department.
  • Maintain matrix files with the most recent updates.
  • Assist with the preparation of product pitches for sales, marketing, and seasonal catalogues.
  • Maintain organized, well labelled files and documents.
  • Conduct market research as required and stay up-to-date with market trends and new developments.

 

What you bring:

  • Post-secondary degree or certificate in Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop software.

If you are geared to achieve and sales get your motor running, we want to meet you! About the Job As an Inside Sales Representative, you will help drive sales with our existing customer base. There are also opportunities to expand the customer base as you expand in the auto and tractor industry. You will be responsible for a specific territory within Canada representing multiple automotive and tractor brands. This role also includes road trips to your territory dealers twice per year, based on season product launches and pandemic protocols.

You will:

  • Manage your territory, building on current relationships as well as forge new working relationships with dealers.
  • Order entry and processing into sales software, following up on outstanding orders and requests.
  • Resolve customer complaints and queries. Identify and understand customer needs in order to recommend appropriate product and upsells.

About the Job

As Product Development Assistant, you will be a key liaison communicating with our automotive and agricultural licensees ensuring brand guidelines are followed with your keen eye for detail. Your day-to-day will include communicating externally with our factories and suppliers, negotiating costs/quantities  and sourcing and developing new product ideas.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and source new ideas for product lines and review with the entire team. 
  • Professionally communicate with local and overseas vendors to ensure standards are met within the timeline and scheduled deadlines for each season.
  • Edit Brochures and pricelists. 
  • Negotiate costing and quantities, delivery, and terms with vendors for clothing and/or accessories.
  • Generate new part numbers for garments in Excel spreadsheets.
  • Maintaining/sizing specs and quality standards for clothing and accessories. 
  • Liaison with licensees to manage and track approvals.
  • Creating product lines for our brands and custom programs.
  • Create descriptions and call out attributes of all products. 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education, education in fashion or garment construction would be considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator, photo editing and photography skills are an asset.
  • Strong prioritization and multitasking skills.

As Embroidery Machine Operator, you will play an integral part in preparing garments and setting up the embroidery machine to complete orders to customer specifications.

Operate a 5 head machine and single head machine.  Manually hoop garments to ensure accurate embroidery and embroidery placement.

Training will be provided.

Skills:

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Good eye for detail and ability to follow work orders.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Previous embroidery experience will set you apart from other candidates however, not required.
  • Ability to learn and grow within the position, becoming an expert at embroidery.

We are looking for a responsible individual to drive our Ford Transit Van to make local daily pick-ups and deliveries.

Responsibilities:

  • Safe operation of the vehicle,

Choko Authentic Apparel is a proudly Canadian owned & operated company and we are looking for a Custom Order/Purchasing assistant to join our growing team!

Our team is dynamic and creative. Our expertise is in designing, creating, manufacturing and distributing premium lifestyle apparel and we are proud of our enviable reputation for design concepts and the durability of our products.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will use your keen attention to detail to process purchase orders for customization of hats, garments and accessories for a multitude of customers.

You will assist in the processing of purchase orders to ensure program goods are in stock and branded as need for the upcoming season and act as a cover for the order management desk.

You will source out and purchase blank goods from suppliers.

You will work closely with the sales department to make sure customers’ needs are met and customizations are processed quickly and accurately.

Work with our Product Development team and Art Department on Seasonal Catalogue apparel and accessory finishing.

Help maintain database for season switchover and pricing accuracy.

Run sales reports for upcoming season forecasts. Strong Knowledge of Excel required.

To be successful in this position you need to have strong attention to detail and be able to work with all departments within company as well as vendors.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of heat transfer, embroidery and screen printing is an asset.
  • High level knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • You will have Math and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP/business systems. SPIRE would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of purchasing and inventory movements.
  • Keyboarding/data entry.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with custom orders and regular inventory.
  • Use embroidery software to set up logos specific to customer requests.
  • Make recommendations on thread colour, size and location for decorating garments.
  • Organize and plan custom work orders based on customer requirements.
  • Work with outside vendors to have product/custom orders ready on time to meet deadlines.
  • Issue purchase orders.
  • Run and analyze inventory reports.
  • Work with the art dept, product development and sales dept to ensure stock is decorated correctly.
  • Maintain inventory records. 
  • ERP system updates (create and maintain part numbers, part number classifications).
  • Complete Multi company inventory transfers.
  • Issue/receive purchase orders
  • Update inventory through receipts and adjustments within the ERP system
  • Work with in-house production and warehouse
  • Liaise with outside production partners to ensure proper/timely completion of production and delivery/receipt of new stock
  • Work with order management/sales department to ensure stock is ready and available to ship when needed
